In the last weeks, several PTC websites have been attacked by unknown hackers with unkown intentions through what it is called a “DDoS” acttack. These Denial-of-Service attacks consist in turning the websites unavailable by saturation of the target server with external communications requests.

These attacks have generated losses of thousands of USD, affecting users and site administrators.

Some of the PTC sites that were attacked recently include: Isabel Marco, 07bux, Crewbux, Mainbux, among others.

Fortunately, most of these sites have taken precaution for future attacks strengthening their security systems by installing DDoS protection and fixing any security bug that may affect the website.

As of this writing, it is unkown who are behind these attacks and what their intentions are.
